Prince William “doesn’t care” about what Prince Harry is doing as he is focussing on other aspects of his life, a royal commentator has claimed.

Harry himself shed light on their difficult relationship as he described his struggles growing up as a “spare” to William in his homonymous memoir last year.

The Prince’s reaction to Harry’s conduct has garnered the attention of royal fans and commentators across the globe – but one expert argued William is not really interested in what his brother is working on.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said: “I don’t think he wants to waste his emotional energy on a brother who is so estranged, who’s hurt him so badly. I don’t think he cares what Harry does.”

She added: “I don’t think William gives Harry a thought. I think as far as William is concerned, Harry doesn’t really exist.
