A Redditor who’s gotten 16 consecutive Super Bowl results wrong has made his prediction for this year’s game.

With Super Bowl 58 now four days away, user “im_THIS_guy” from the r/sportsbook subreddit has revealed who he thinks is going to win, picking the Kansas City Chiefs, whom he’s bet against twice before.

“Hi. I’m the guy who has incorrectly picked the last 16 Super Bowl winners and I’m back with my Super Bowl pick,” he wrote this week.

“I predict that the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS will win the Super Bowl.

“Don’t overthink this. The better team will win. The Chiefs are an absolute machine in the playoffs. I’ve bet against them twice in the Super Bowl in the past and, to quote The Who, I won’t get fooled again.”

Based on his track record, it appears the San Francisco 49ers will be the ones celebrating a Super Bowl win this time around. They do have the better side on paper but the Chiefs have defied the odds to even get to the Super Bowl and they seem to just know exactly what to do to win in the postseason.

Who knows, though, after 16 tries, said user is probably due a win. He’s gone with the underdogs, but it just might pay off this time around.
