Caitlin Clark has completed three WNBA games with the Indiana Fever and is still looking for her first win.

The former Iowa Hawkeye has played pretty well, for the most part. She struggled last Tuesday in the first quarter of her debut against the Connecticut Sun but got things going after that. She saw major improvements in game three on Saturday against the Liberty.

One major concern for Clark over these first few games has been her turnovers. She has amassed 21 turnovers, which is an average of seven per game. This is good for the most turnovers in the WNBA so far.

But some of these turnovers can’t be blamed on Clark. In fact, a few of them were passes made by Clark that should have turned into points, but her teammates can’t catch the ball.

This teammate problem Clark has faced so far with the Fever has been seen in each of their first three games. Two examples of Clark’s beautiful passes ending in a turnover are below.

“Here is another perfect Caitlin Clark pass that her teammate can’t handle and the WNBA stat recorder said it was a turnover on CC. What is going on with these stat recordings?”

“Everyone wants to talk about Caitlin Clark’s turnovers. But when your teammates can’t grab the ball, it’s hard to limit your turnovers.”

Both of the above turnovers should have been points. If only her teammates could catch.

Not all Clark’s turnovers have been her teammates fault. She has had some boneheaded plays herself, but this Fever team needs to learn how to catch.
