Many fans want to know more about the Indiana Fever star
Caitlin Clark is now one of the biggest names in American sports, having shone at college basketball level before then being the first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
She now plays for the Indiana Fever and it is fair to say that they have had a terrible start to the season, with the coach now coming under a lot of pressure to turn things around before the campaign becomes a write-off.
Fan support makes Caitlin Clark feel at home despite away win
Clark studied at the University of Iowa and was the best player for the Iowa Hawkeyes last season.
Away from the basketball court, Clark graduated with a major in marketing and a minor in communication studies, achieving a 3.64 GPA and earning a spot on the Academic All-America Team.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s rivalry
In her senior year for the Hakweyes, she averaged 31.6 points, 8.9 assists, and 7.4 rebounds per game which is what led to such a huge swell of interest in both her and the NCAA overall.
Whilst the Hawkeyes did not manage to become the champions, it was Clark‘s rivalry with LSU Tigers star Angel Reese that also really boosted her sporting profile.
Although Reese did not name anyone specifically, her message was clear.
“And that’s on getting a WIN in a packed area not just cause of one player on our charter flight. #SKYTOWN,” Reese posted on her official X account.
