Rather than slow down, despite starting in 2016, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s legal battle seems to only be heating up.

While they were reportedly coming to an agreement on the subject of their children’s custody, the conflict over their vineyard is still going on.

Recently, Brad Pitt was sued, though not by Angelina.

The actress has been wanting to sell her shares of the winery for some time, and now the company who wanted to buy it is suing Brad Pitt and his company, Mondo Bongo, for the way they handled the business.

Brad Pitt Sued Amid Legal Fight With Angelina Jolie Over Their Vineyard

Château Miraval, a French winery Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie co-owned during their marriage, has been a huge point of contention in their legal fight that started ever since the actress filed for divorce back in 2016. Angelina Jolie wants to sell her share of the vineyard, while Brad Pitt claims she doesn’t have the right to do that, as he owned 60% of the property before they married.

Angelina Jolie recently had a big win in that particular fight, and now the actor is facing another lawsuit. Only this time it’s not his ex-wife who’s suing him. It’s the company that intended to buy Angelina’s shares of Château Miraval.

The company, Tenute del Mondo, is accusing Brad Pitt of using Château Miraval as a “personal piggy bank” for his company, Mondo Bongo.

“Pitt caused millions of its funds to be spent on projects that benefit him personally,” the lawsuit claims. “Worse yet, Pitt has diverted the company’s assets to his side businesses —which include a recording studio called Studio Miraval, a cosmetics line called Le Domaine, and a gin brand called The Gardener.”

“This theft has put millions of dollars in the pockets of Pitt’s and Mondo Bongo’s business ventures,” the suit went on, “and has diverted dividends and loan repayments to them that otherwise would have been paid out to Tenute as one of the ultimate owners of Château Miraval.”

The company is also accusing Brad Pitt and his company of concealing financial activity.

“Pitt and Mondo Bongo have turned Château Miraval into their personal piggy bank. They have entered into a series of transactions using Chateau Miraval’s funds that have deprived Tenute of the profits and loan repayments to which it is entitled.”

Angelina Jolie Recently Accused Brad Pitt Of Abuse

In addition to this new lawsuit regarding their fight over the vineyard, a new accusation from Angelina Jolie has come up regarding their custody battle, perhaps the most controversial chapter of their complicated divorce.

The actress’ legal team recently said that, before the airplane incident when Brad Pitt allegedly choked one of their children, he had been physically violent towards her on several occasions.

“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him,” Angelina’s team claimed.

Perhaps that while she allegedly told her children to avoid their dad during their custody battle.

Brad Pitt has denied the allegations, but it seems it will be a while before their long and complicated divorce comes to a satisfying conclusion.
