Jennifer Lawrence is finally set to grace the big screens with her 2023 American s*x comedy No Hard Feelings. While discussing the film and its plot in a recent interview, the actress shared some details during which she opened up about her weird Craigslist story regarding the film’s plot which also starts with an ad that Lawrence’s character Maddie Barker accepting a job listing.
Her personal story had a weird aspect to it involving the actor’s mom and a toilet seat that she had broken according to the Hunger Games star.

With the release date of her upcoming film No Hard Feelings approaching nearer by the day, Jennifer Lawrence revealed some weird stories regarding Craigslist recently. Similar to the film’s plot, where Lawrence’s character accepts a weird job listing, the actor also happened to have experienced one such incident.

The Hunger Games star recalled the time her mom posted an ad to sell Lawrence’s broken toilet seat on Craigslist. And the person who bought it turned out to be none other than No Hard Feelings co-writer Lee Eisenberg. He also co-wrote the 2011 comedy Bad Teachers starring Cameron Diaz. The actress opened up by saying,
“Years ago, Lee Eisenberg bought a toilet on Craigslist from my mom. My toilet,”
Furthermore, Eisenberg knew about the identity of the seller while making his purchase according to Lawrence. This incident got a “woah” response from her co-star Andrew Barth Feldman. The writer has not yet responded or provided any comment on the incident.

As for Lawrence, apart from her film career, she has also been busy with motherhood with her 1-and-a-half-year-old son Cy whom she shares with her husband Cooke Maroney.

She gets hired by a rich couple to seduce their 19-year-old son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman) before he leaves for college. Barker is forced to accept such a weird job task as she is on the brink of losing her childhood home. The film is slated to release on the 23rd of June this year.
