King Charles was too buys to meet with his son last week when Prince Harry flew to England from the United States, with the one way he will meet him now revealed

According to an expert, there is one way King Charles will meet with his son Prince Harry, which comes after the Duke of Sussex was seemingly “snubbed”.

The Duke of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom last week for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. The Duke flew to London from the United States for a service at St Paul’s Cathedral, with his brief visit coming before he and his wife Meghan Markle jetted to Nigeria for a tour.

Shortly after touching down in London last Tuesday, it was revealed that King Charles was too busy to meet with his son after weeks of speculation that they could meet.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Duke said: “It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

And now a royal expert has revealed the one way that the King would likely meet with his son. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Richard Fitzwilliams said: “If Harry would come to Britain privately, arranging a meeting beforehand, I am sure his father would see him.”

He went on to add that Harry and Meghan’s trip to Nigeria “will show the appeal of their brand, which has recently appeared to be much weaker”. Mr Fitzwilliams then said: “However, it will take a very, very long time to build up trust with the Royal Family. It is a sobering thought that it may never happen.”

This comes as Harry and Meghan embark on the final day of their 72-hour whistle-stop tour of Nigeria. The couple touched down in the West African country on Friday, with them visiting a school shortly after, where Harry gave a moving speech about mental health.

Yesterday, for their second day in the country, the couple attended a seated volleyball match, with the Duke and Duchess even holding hands and looking smitten in the process.
