Out of sympathy for the mother who had just lost her 3-month-old child, Princess Kate could not hold back her tears of sadness.

On November 25, the Princess of Cambridge met with parents at a facility of the East Anglia Children’s Hospices Organization in Norfolk – where dozens of children with cruel diseases are cared for.

During this appearance, Princess Kate could not hold back her tears of sadness when talking to Ms. Leigh Smith – a young mother who had just lost her newborn child. In order to encourage the young mother to overcome her pain, Princess Kate hugged and encouraged Ms. Smith by saying, “You are a brave woman.”

Previously, Ms. Smith (33 years old) from Norwich said her daughter passed away when she was only 89 days old due to a rare heart disease.

Because she was so heartbroken and knew that Princess Kate often participated in activities of East Anglia Children’s Hospices, Ms. Smith wrote a letter to tell the heartbreaking story of her daughter’s death.

Ms. Smith was emotional and sad.

Surprisingly, Ms. Smith received a response letter composed and sent back by Princess Kate herself. “I was so touched when she took the time to read the letter and respond to me. It showed that she really cares about the children. Seeing her today reminded me of the letter and I was proactively approached her. Today, I had a lot of mixed emotions because it was a difficult time. I believe my daughter also saw the moment I met Princess Kate.

Kate hugged me before leaving. I burst into tears and so did she. Then she said to me, ‘You’re a brave woman. Again, I’m really sorry,'” Ms. Smith said.
