Billie Faiers emotionally breaks down in tears on Thursday’s episode of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries as she details a recent scary hospital dash with baby daughter Margot.

The now 17-month-old was rushed to hospital earlier this year by an ambulance after she stopped breathing, doctors later revealed that Margot had suffered a terrifying febrile seizure. The NHS describes a febrile seizure as something that can “sometimes happen when a child has a high temperature”.

In an exclusive clip obtained by the Mirror of tonight’s (Thursday 23 May) episode of Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries, Billie and husband Greg Shepherd recall the terrifying experience, where Billie, who has also has children Nelly and Arthur, emotionally breaks down in tears. A voiceover says: “Billie and Greg are faced with an emergency, resulting in little Margot being rushed to hospital.”

Speaking in a VT, Billie says: “We were at Greg’s sister’s having lunch and Margot wasn’t 100% that day, she had flushed cheeks. She could have been teething, it was nothing out of the ordinary. The kids were having some food, I turned around and Margot had gone completely stiff.

“Straight away I grabbed her out the high chair, all I remember is me screaming: ‘Someone help me’ and then she stopped breathing. I screamed: ‘Someone call an ambulance!’

“For me, my head…” to which Billie then breaks down in tears as husband Greg comforts her. Billie continues: “When we got to the hospital, they said she had a febrile seizure, where basically her temperate had spiked so quickly and her body tried to regulate her temperature. As a result of that, some babies and young children have seizures.

“Once we were in the hospital, I definitely felt like I was in the right place, where I needed to be, it just made me feel a little bit more reassured”, she adds: “After six hours in A&E, the doctors sent us home and asked us just to keep an eye on Margot.”

Former TOWIE star Billie is back for a new series of her hit ITVBe reality show with husband Greg and their three children Nelly, Arthur and Margot. Billie welcomed baby Margot at the beginning of December in 2022. “Welcome to the world our beautiful baby girl 02~12~22 We are so in love with our precious little darling,” she announced at the time.
