Prince Harry has one significant reason he would move his family back to the UK, according to a royal expert.

Meghan and Harry could move to the UK, an expert believes

The Duke, along with his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, currently reside in Montecito in the United States, but speculation continues to simmer surrounding a return to his native UK, despite Meghan’s apparent hesitancy. Now, an expert believes the current “health crises” within the royal family could see “duty call” for Harry.

According to Jennie Bond, the current health issues have been a “real setback” for the Firm, which could lead to Harry taking up his role once again.

Prince Harry could choose to move his family to the UK
The Royal correspondent told Heat magazine: “From the rumours that he was willing to step in on some kind of official business while the King is in treatment, Harry probably would uproot his family and fill in for the short-term.”

While she said it would be “extremely unlikely,” she added that any return could see him “able to do things his way for once”. Jennie added that any return for Harry would be likely to be for a very short period, especially with William’s son George also able to become King in seven years time at the age of 18.

Rumours surrounding Harry’s return heightened when he made the 5,000-mile trip to be by his sick dad’s side following news of his cancer scare. Despite it being a very brief visit, Harry later publicly declared his love for his family while in Canada for an Invictus Games event. He also told Good Morning America: “I have got other trips planned that would take me through the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”

It’s reported that any potential return for Harry and Meghan would only be possible if Prince William provided them with his support. Expert Grant Harrold said the couple will need to mend their relationship with the Prince of Wales for any lengthy return to be successful.

Speaking to the New York Post, he claimed: “He [Harry] could have a discussion with his brother about resuming his royal duties, but obviously there is so much that has happened over the last couple of years and that needs to be sorted out before the Sussexes made a permanent return.”

However, the former royal butler added that he is sure their siblings’ relationship is not “too far gone” to be fixed.
