Star wide receiver Mike Evans has revealed where he will be playing his football next season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the wideout’s agent has confirmed that he’s agreed to a two-year deal worth $52 million, which includes $35 million in guaranteed money, with the team.

The five-time Pro Bowler was expected to test free agency next week, but that won’t be happening after all. He now has a real opportunity to end his career with the Bucs, where it all started.

His agent, Deryk Gilmore, noted that the deal is the largest for a wide receiver this old on his third contract as it’s set to pay $26 million a season.

Evans took to Instagram to celebrate the deal on Monday.

“Fire Them Cannons!” he wrote as the caption to a photo of himself wearing the Bucs’ creamsicle threads.

“He’s an unprecedented player. We want him to be a Buc for life,” general manager Jason Licht said at the NFL Combine last week.

Evans was expected to be one of the top wide receivers available on the free agent market this offseason, with the Kansas City Chiefs thought to harbor interest.

That the Bucs have managed to bring him back will keep their offense formidable and will also help their case with Baker Mayfield, who said he was keen on continuing his partnership with the veteran pass catcher.
