Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is headed into free agency this offseason, and he will no doubt have plenty of suitors should he opt not to re-sign with his current team.

Evans has proven to be one of the most dependable pass-catchers in the NFL over the last decade and would be one of the biggest free agents on the market if he becomes available.

As such, he is now being linked to the Kansas City Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl with a receiving stable considered to be sub-par. The Chiefs could surely use a player of Evans’ ilk, which is why everyone seems to think they’ll be his new paymasters in 2024.

The Chiefs are now on the hunt for a threepeat, something which would be way more feasible if they get Evans.

The WR is coming off a 10th straight season in which he has recorded over 1,000 yards and is now second behind Jerry Rice in such regard – Rice had 11 such campaigns. Evans posted 1,255 receiving yards in 2023, adding a league-leading 13 touchdowns in a tie with Tyreek Hill.
