Cyrus got five other nominations at the 2024 Grammys: Album of the Year (Endless Summer Vacation), Record of the Year (Flowers), Song of the Year (Flowers), Best Pop Vocal Album (Endless Summer Vacation), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Thousand Miles with Brandi Carlile). While some fans are happy she has won this time, some still can’t believe that she beat Swift.

“Oh my God, I got stuck in the rain in traffic, and I thought I was going to miss this moment. I could have missed the award, that’s fine, but not Mariah Carey. I just saw you at the Hollywood Bowl, and it was everything.”
“And this song, ‘Flowers,’ is my butterfly,” Cyrus added.
Flowers topped the Billboard Hot 100 for straight eight weeks after its release and broke Spotify’s record for most streams in a single week with more than 100 million listens.
