Joy Taylor and Caitlin Clark (Photos via Speak/X & Getty Images)FS1’s Joy Tayor got destroyed online following what turned out to be an unpopular take.
Taylor was discussing Caitlin Clark during ‘Speak’ this week when she claimed no one was talking about the former Iowa star before the 2023 national championship game, adding Angel Reese’s taunts are what actually made her famous.
“We were not talking about Caitlin Clark before Angel Reese walked up to her, did this [waving her hand], and pointed to the ring,” she said.
“This is not my opinion. I lived it. I watched it. It was recorded, it was broadcasted live. We were not talking about Caitlin Clark before that moment, and that’s OK. You can be extremely talented and not interesting.”
Of course, Reese is doing her part for women’s basketball, and her antics gave both players more coverage than they probably would have gotten otherwise.
But Clark was pretty well known before that 2023 loss. She had already grabbed the headlines with a 41-point performance against South Carolina in the Final Four that year.

Fans Ripped Joy Taylor Over Her Odd Caitlin Clark Take
Fans were pretty quick to call Taylor out.
“Sports analysts saying they didn’t know who CC was before the 23 chip is extremely damning on sports media,” one said. “This does not say what she thinks it does.”
“This is simply not true,” another added. “If you weren’t paying attention to women’s college hoops say that instead.”
“We’re not blatantly lying. Caitlin was HER before the Natty Game and everyone knew about her before the Natty Game. Don’t do that,” said a third.
Another pointed to an interview she had with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith in 2022.
Doesn’t look like Joy Taylor did her homework on that one.
Meghan Markle in Panic: Shocking Footage Allegedly Shows Lilibet’s Biological Mother Reclaiming Her Daughter
A woman named Maria Gonzalez, who used to work as the housekeeper at the Montecito estate of our daring Duke and Duchess of Deceit, has stepped forward with the mother of all claims. Gonzalez is outright alleging that she, not Meghan, is the actual biological mother of Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet.
Unbelievably, if this is true, it would mean that Harry and Meghan’s hollow victimhood rallying cry of “she’s my baby, my literal flesh and blood” has been a deceitful sham from day one. All their grand self-promotional narratives about fighting the good fight for mothers and proudly embracing her multicultural heritage with Lilibet are a total fabrication, fueled by the most serious betrayal imaginable—stealing another woman’s biological child. Has there ever been a more disgustingly cynical attempt to empower your vapid brand at someone else’s expense?
Even for the unrepentant grifters we know Harry and Meghan to be, this would absolutely nuke past all boundaries of repugnant personal conduct. Based on Meghan’s demonstrable history as a deceiver and fabulist, these allegations are more than plausible. For all her lofty preaching about progressive feminism and supporting women’s causes, Meghan has repeatedly revealed herself as the epitome of self-serving elitism mixed with blatant hypocrisy. Her claims of being an oppressed voice for the marginalized are constantly undermined by entitled actions that harm and marginalize those around her.
How many royal staffers had their careers and reputations baselessly scorched amid Meghan’s bullying outbursts? Just the logistics alone required to pull off this level of alleged chicanery are truly astonishing. It’s next-level audacity—a grift of the perfect crime variety, requiring mountains of depraved dishonesty. We’re asked to believe this American minor royal accomplished it all while under the ever-watchful gaze of UK tabloids. More likely, if these claims are accurate, the surrogacy was carefully planned and bankrolled in secret.
Leave it to the unparalleled manipulators that are the Sussexes to potentially view the arrival of their second child as simply another leverage point to be gained. In her twisted thinking, secretly stealing another woman’s baby could be the most authentic way to reinforce those phony ethnic struggles. Trust me, if her blatant lies about marrying Harry before the actual wedding for cheap publicity show us anything, it’s that Meghan has zero qualms about deception.
With the potential bombshell of Lilibet’s real parentage now exploding onto the scene, not only will Meghan’s PR narrative about being a preserving minority mom be discredited, but the entire “woe is me” ethnic oppression facade she’s been spinning for years will crumble into dust. No wonder Gonzalez’s legal team has a trove of evidence ready to deploy. The optics alone of a well-intentioned woman of color exploited by this fame-hungry elite phenom from Montecito would utterly obliterate Meghan’s pristine, protected persona.
Don’t think this potential legal clown show would remain contained out there on the West Coast. No, the ripple effects and implications would extend far past this. If proven true, you can expect those dopey royal overlords back in Blighty to snatch Lilibet away from Harry and Meghan faster than you can say “custody hearing.” Meanwhile, the fallout would only intensify the already raging dumpster fires of scandals and embarrassments plaguing the firm’s tattered reputation. What better ammunition for critics than revelations that the highest-profile royals lied to the world about welcoming a child?

Jon Kay - Since 2022
Sally Nugent - Since 2021
Charlie Stayt - Since 2006
Naga Munchetty - Since 2014

In 2020, Naga asked Charlie when he had last seen “a beaver”.
He replied, before dissolving into giggles: “Well, it’s probably been a while, if ever, in fact.”
He was also praised for his probing questioning of sullen pop star Lady Gaga, after she endorsed Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 US election with Donald Trump.
A rep for Charlie was approached for comment yesterday.
The BBC said it does not comment on personal matters.
