Attempting to eat some of the spiciest hot sauces left Chris Hemsworth teary-eyed!

The internet’s premise is simple; people enjoy watching The Hot Ones, which follows a simple formula of celebrities eating spicy chicken wings and answering the burning questions asked to them by Sean Evans, the host of the show. Numerous celebrities have been part of the talk show, and Chris Hemsworth was the newest name to be added to the list.

The show has surprisingly attracted a large number of celebrities, not only because of Evans’ talent but also to enjoy their favorite celebrities, eating tongue-numbing spicy wings. The viewers enjoyed the latest episode as the Thor actor started strong but soon fell victim to the hot sauces, leaving the fans laughing as he failed to cope with the spice making everything worse for Hemsworth. However, he is not the only Marvel actor, falling victim to the fiery hot wings.

Chris Hemsworth Could Not Handle The Heat in The Hot Ones

Chris Hemsworth, the box office juggernaut and the Norse God of Thunder, Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was recently present on The Hot Ones, one of the hottest shows present on the internet, literally and figuratively. The Extraction actor is going to be featured in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and before Sean Evans starts the interview, he drops a question to the actor asking “How adventurous though are you as an eater?”

The show features 10 hot sauces, each spicier than the previous one, Hemsworth started strong as he ate the first wing with the hot sauce while answering how playing the villain was fun in the post-apocalyptic film and how he enjoyed working in it.

The actor didn’t face any heat as he ate the 3rd sauce, Mark’s Fermented Kimchi, which had a mere 18,000 Scoville level, as he urged Evans to ask him more questions. However, things started to get hot when he went to the 5th sauce called Meow’s Revenge, having a score of 54,000 on the Scoville Unit, calling it a “good one,” and his expressions started to change lightly as he tasted it.

However, he started to feel the spice, as he tasted the 6th sauce, Onima, having a good 71,000 Scoville Level, and this sauce straight up introduced the heat as Chris Hemsworth ate the wings dabbed in the hot sauce, calling the sauce’s heat a “real jump, that’s not like a gentle introduction. We went from pepper to chilli now.”

He started following the box breathing method which he talked about earlier in the show, and urged the host that “we can’t reach for the milk yet.” While answering the question, the distress from the sauce’s heat was evident on Hemsworth’s face.

However, he did not give up as he decided to pop the bottle for his next question. The Red Flag is a significant jump from the previous sauce as it has a spice level of 121,000 on the Scoville Level. Though the spice was not felt at first, it caught up to him as he started coughing, whilst answering the question.

Chris Hemsworth soon regretted his decision to put a generous amount of DA’ Bomb: Beyond Insanity, having a whopping heat of 135,000 on the Scoville Level. He caved in to the heat, as he said, “I don’t want to play anymore. I don’t want to do this anymore. I think we have to do the milk. Oh my God!”

However, it was just the beginning because the next sauce, Peppers Up packs a hot punch, as it has a heat of 700,000 on the Scoville Level. The heat from the sauce was so bad that Hemsworth decided to label the experience as someone getting sunburned twice and then their skin gets peeled off.

Chris Hemsworth was on the verge of crying as he opened the last sauce, called The Last Dab Experience. The hot sauce would make any chicken wing, a wing of death as it has a Scoville Level of 2.6 million. Though he did not react to the heat, his eyes were teary and he struggled to breathe with all the heat from the sauces.

Marvel Actors Who Had a Spicy Moment in The Hot Ones

Not just Chris Hemsworth fell victim to the hot sauces, there are a number of MCU actors and actresses had a spicy time in the show, as they survived to climb the spice mountain, eating some of the spiciest chicken wings to be ever created on the planet.

3) Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson was present on The Hot Ones when she was promoting Avengers: Endgame and she met a similar faith like Hemsworth as she was left in tears, after having the 10th wing as the hot sauce packed a heat of over 2 million Scoville. Scarlett Johansson was feeling restless and tensed as the heat was creeping up on her, she could not speak and zoned out because of the hot sauce, leaving her in a frenzy and teary-eyed.

2) Tom Holland

While promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland also became a victim of Da’ Bomb: Beyond Insanity in The Hot Ones. As he ate the wing, he started walking around because the heat was so intense that put him on the verge of tears, as he was chugging glasses of milk, which could not help in things better.

Moreover, by the time he was done with the 10th wing, he felt that he was going to be sick and decided to sign off.

1) Jeremy Renner

Another one of the original Avengers, Jeremy Renner also fell victim in The Hot Ones as he reached his 10th wing, where he was given The Last Dab: Apollo, which interestingly had an unknown Scoville Level. To make things worse for himself Renner drenched the wings in probably the spiciest sauce known to humankind. By the time, he was done with the interview, he felt as if there was fire all over his face.

Special Mention of The Queen of Spicy Food, Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen was also featured on The Hot Ones, and her interview was a memorable one, not because she had a difficult time with the wings from hell. Usually, the stars start having trouble from the 5th or 6th wing, but that was not the case with Olsen because none of the sauces could give her a difficult time as she was laughing and answering all the 10 questions asked of her, that too, with a laugh.

Some believed she was controlling her emotions and felt the spice internally, which was evident as soon as she faced the cameras. However, everyone was taken aback, as she looked normal, and not even the slightest distress could be felt on her face or her speech pattern.
